Micah Yeackley
Co-Founder
Micah Yeackley has been deeply immersed in blockchain technology and digital asset markets for several years, with a focus on practical deployment, custody, and capital stewardship. In 2019, after advising friends and family on investments in cryptographic assets, he founded The Veteran Broker, one of the earliest digital asset brokerages in North America. Through this work, Micah has developed significant expertise in market structure, asset custody, regulatory considerations, and risk management within digital asset ecosystems.
Chris Turner
Co-Founder
Chris brings over a decade of experience across international development, sustainable finance, and emerging technology. His early career was spent working with bilateral and multilateral agencies on public health, energy, agriculture, trade-logistics, and resource management projects, where he witnessed first-hand the systemic failures that excluded communities from decision-making and wasted billions through poor governance and broken data systems. This experience shaped his commitment to redesigning how economic power is distributed and how communities participate in their own development. He leads Kula’s governance and ecosystem design, building hybrid Web2.5 investment structures that combine institutional compliance with community-led economic participation across Africa and Asia. Chris holds a PhD in Organisational Development, an MA in Public Health, and a BA in Anthropology from SOAS, University of London. This academic foundation shapes his approach to governance design, community participation, and socio-economic systems.

Kula
Kula
Kula
Kula
Kula
Kula
Kula
